Speer, IL

Today was the day to honor our annual tradition of a trip to Tanner's Orchard. The weather was pretty nice, maybe a little on the warm side. The boys had a great time, of course. The grown-ups were thoroughly exhausted.
Appley Express has a nice ring to it, I think.
T loves to feed the goats and llamas. S, not so much.

Get those livestock germs off your hands.
Last year we took a stroller for T and he was content to sit in it most of the outing. Today he was held a lot, mostly to keep him from running off toward myriad attractions.
The Original Hartrich Crew. (Plus Ed's arm).
Putt-putt.
Underage driver.
Accordion band = awesome.
Finally, these leaves are what I see from my kitchen table. The trees belong to our neighbors and are so wonderfully bright right now.
Hope you are having a swell autumn weekend. xoxo

Autumn = great. It's so celebrated in the Midwest and I miss it. Here in BCN it is noted in changes to the trees and air, but the only celebration is the cropping up of stands selling roasted chestnuts with mashed sweet potato.

Great shots. We went to the Apple Blossom farm the other day for a preschool field trip. It is cute, just like Tanners. It definitely feels like fall to hit one of these places!
